The Milky Way in Full Glory
On a clear summer night in Wincrange, I found myself immersed in a scene that words can scarcely capture. The Milky Way arched overhead, a luminous river of stars stretching across the darkness, its glow undimmed by the city lights that plague so many skies.
Setting up my camera, the cool night air was calm, and the sky was crystal clear. The core of the Milky Way stood out with vibrant colours—oranges, reds, and purples blending together. Dust lanes cut through the light, outlining the spiral arms of our galaxy. The dark silhouettes of trees in the foreground provided a simple contrast to the bright, star-filled sky.
Capturing this photo meant more than simply adjusting settings and clicking the shutter. It was about standing there, looking up, and appreciating the vastness above. Each time I see this image, it takes me back to that night under the stars, reminding me how small we are compared to the universe, yet connected to it in our own way.
