This hiking trail, known for its tranquil beauty, winds along the Hoëgne River, inviting visitors to experience the harmonious blend of flowing water, towering trees, and rocky terrain. It’s a journey through nature’s quiet symphony, where every step taken is accompanied by the gentle sounds of the river and the rustling of leaves.

The trail begins in the village of Hockai and runs through the heart of the Ardennes forest, a region famous for its dense woodlands and rolling hills. As you follow the path, the Hoëgne River flows alongside, at times calm and serene, and at other times rushing over rocks and forming cascades that captivate the eye. One of the standout features of the hike is the numerous small waterfalls, particularly striking when frozen in the crisp winter air, creating an ethereal atmosphere.
